The Galerie St. Laurent art gallery
Galerie St. Laurent art gallery
Located in the historic centre of Leukerbad, right on the village square, the Galerie St. Laurent combines cultural tradition with contemporary art. The former St. Laurent Baths were converted into a gallery in the 1980s. Nowadays the exhibition gallery can be booked by any artist, a unique concept that doesn't exist anywhere else in Valais.
Local artists and artists from all over Switzerland alike present their works here. The exhibitions range from paintings, photography and illustration to ceramics, sculptures and installations. The gallery is a meeting place, a source of inspiration and a window onto the diverse art scene of Valais.
Open daily from 2 p.m. to 5.45 p.m. (closed on Tuesdays)
Admission: free
Just a short walk away from the ‘Leukerbad, Busbahnhof’ public transport stop.

Current and upcoming exhibitions
The exhibition "Tanz der Schneeflocken" will be shown until the 17th of February.
Martin Engler’s art combines emotion and everyday life in powerful “life portraits.” Using techniques such as mixed media, oil painting, collage, and sculpture, he creates works that give viewers space to imagine their own realities. His creations are snapshots of an inner journey and invite us to experience art as a universal language.
