Gold at the International Ski Area Test 2025

Kitzbühel, 26/09/2025 - The destination Leukerbad took home several gold awards at the prestigious International Ski Area Test 2025. The awards were accepted by Stefan Imhof, Roland Zegg, Lucia Toth and Jean-Pierre Rey on behalf of the entire destination.

Leukerbad received the gold award as a summer destination in several areas:

• Adventure & Family Mountain Summer 2025
• Wellness & Spa Award for the Leukerbad Therme
• Kinderlandtrophy for the Thermi Adventure Trail
• Ideas & Implementation for the Thermi Adventure Trail
   

In addition, the international summer seal of approval was awarded for the bike and scooter trails. These awards confirm what our guests experience every day: a combination of nature, health, alpine joie de vivre and hospitality of the highest standard.

The International Ski Area Test is an independent quality test for ski and tourism destinations in the Alpine region. Under the direction of Klaus Hönigsberger, anonymous testers carry out their checks every year - with expertise, objectivity and many years of experience. Among other things, quality, safety, service and variety of offerings are evaluated. The Ski Area Test has now developed into a premium brand in alpine tourism, supporting the continuous improvement process of destinations and recognising the best in the industry. The honours in Kitzbühel make it clear: Leukerbad remains one of the leading destinations in the Alpine region in the summer of 2025.
