Daubensee Hike

The crystal-clear Daubensee is located at 2,200 metres above sea level. The leisurely hike around the lake takes around two hours from the Gemmi Pass. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, the idyllic lake invites you to linger. Switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the harmonious tranquillity of the mountains. Thanks to the good wind conditions, kitesurfers can occasionally be seen over the lake in summer. From November onwards, you will look in vain for the lake, as its shallow depth means that it empties underground as winter approaches. In spring, the natural lake fills up as the snow melts.
