Egguweg Albinen

The Egguweg leads to 17 interesting spots, or Eggu in Walliser German, around Albinen. From mid-May to the end of October, you learn interesting facts about herbs and culture of the rustic mountain village along the way. Outside the season, the path from Dorf Eggu 7 to 16 is accessible. The path is well signposted and can be walked in both directions. Plan half a day to also enjoy culinary delights.

On the Egguweg, you also learn about medicinal herbs, edible mountain herbs, and the flora of the mountain regions. At several stations, you find out what the herbs are used for. Keep your eyes and ears open and observe butterflies, nimble lizards, and other animals along the way.
